Aquatic Fitness Programs:

Aqua Awakening
A great class to get you moving in the morning. Join us in the pool for a low impact 60-minute workout that gets your heart pumping. This class is for both swimmers and non-swimmers. Participants will move through a cardiovascular workout adding in strengthening, flexibility, and abdominal exercises. A great way to cross train and make new friends.

Cardio-Resistance H2O
Men and women alike will be sweating to the high intensity, non-choreographed cardio workout in this aquatic class. Enjoy the benefits of water while working on cardiovascular endurance and strength training.

Aqua Boot Camp
This course offers another way to meet the fitness needs of the water exercise enthusiast. No fluff, no frill, just skills and drills. This course is perfect for males, females and all who are choreography challenged. The properties of water will be used to help achieve an excellent workout. Aerobic and strength training exercises will be utilized, including hopping, jumping, leaping, sprinting, as well as speed, power, balance, hand-eye coordination and explosion drills.

Aquatic Personal Training
Ready for a refreshing new way to exercise? Try cross training in the water for a challenging total body workout. Water provides a multidirectional resistive environment which protects the joints while taxing the muscles. A certified aquatic personal trainer will develop both a strength training and a cardiovascular program to fit your needs.

Tots
this level is for students ranging in age from 2 to 4 years. With parental assistance, participants will learn safe water entry and exploration of the pool. One adult must accompany each child into the pool. Babies must wear a diaper/training pants and waterproof pants.

Level I: Water Exploration
The student must be at least four years old. This class is for real beginners; no skills are necessary. Here students will build confidence, good attitudes, and safe practices around the water. Floating and alternating arms will be introduced.

Level II: Primary Skills
This level is the beginning of swimming without support. The child should be able to submerge and kick independently with a kickboard upon entrance to this class. Success of fundamental skills and locomotion skills will be emphasized (i.e. holding breath, floating on front and back, and beginners stroke).

Level III: Stroke Readiness
Here students will learn to coordinate the front and back crawl. They will also be introduced to the fundamentals of elementary backstroke and treading water. Upon entrance to this class, the student should be able to swim the width of the pool and back independently.

Level IV: Stroke Development
Level IV students should have an awareness of the front crawl and the back crawl and be able to swim the length of pool independently. Increased endurance, introduction of elementary backstroke and sidestroke, and proper rhythmic breathing will be the outcome of this class.

Level V: Stroke Refinement
Level V students must be able to perform the front crawl and back crawl, elementary backstroke, and scissor kick. The breaststroke and basic turns will be introduced.

Adult Swim Lessons
Interested in learning how to swim with better technique and endurance? Sign up to take adult swim lessons. It is a great way to improve stroke skills and learn how to swim the basics.

Private Lessons
This is an exciting alternative to our group swim classes. Your very own swim instructor will give you that personal touch needed to improve your swimming skills.
